If you have not already heard, Hollywood is set to honor Jackie Robinson in a new movie called “42” starring Chadwick Boseman and Harrison Ford. The movie is a tale of heroism, perseverance, and triumph. It tells the story of a brave man’s stand against prejudice, which not only changed the game of baseball but the entire world. He fought racism, not with violence or words, but sheer talent. And he prevailed.
Cypress Hills Cemetery is proud to be the final resting place of Jackie Robinson, a true hero.
